Academy: Day 1
My wonderful husband started the Police Academy yesterday. Dressed in his best suit, he left the house at 7:00 a.m. to make it to North Tulsa for his very first day. In the month following that, however, there was much planning and preparation for this day.
Wes studied 10-codes, 100 blocks and ran until he couldn't run anymore. Poor dear couldn't even remember his combination to his gym locker. I knew this was something he wanted to accomplish, so I did my best to stay out of his way. I sometimes did not do a very good job, though. I am a full-time teacher so anything that needs to be done at home, gets done last. And since it is my first year teaching...SIGH!! I feel like I do this job 24/7.
Great things will come with this, though. For example, Wes actually got asked to do an interview on our local Fox23 News! Here is the link to watch this video, if it no longer works, then there will be a caveman version of it on here later. Also, below is the actual article from Fox23.com. :o) Enjoy!!

Wish he was in Portland, we need some of that dedication in our police force. Handsome as well!
