Gross

I knew that when Wes got into the Academy, he'd love it. I knew this because he loves a good challenge physically and it would be something that he would  never get bored doing.

Little did I know that he would enjoy hearing about and looking at pictures of crash scenes and other unmentionable sights that they show him in class. He comes home and that is what I have had to hear about for the past two days. So far, no bad nightmares. But I can just feel one coming on. The examples are far too disgusting to post on this pretty blog. I am sure that he will see horrible things while on duty this fall, and I suppose I better just lay down the law right now of not telling me anything about it.

Wes, obviously OK with gross things. Here he is featured in a pie-eating contest for church. Yucky.
I also find that this new schedule for both of us is EXHAUSTING. We are in bed no later than 9:30, maybe 10:00. I am just as tired as he is. We both get up around 5:20, I head to the gym and then to work and he gets all of his things together and is at the academy by 7:45.

I am trying my best to stay on top of house work, but it is becoming challenging. With school work to grade, lessons to plan, and his APO things to keep in order, I am burnt out. Good news though, we may have a SNOW DAY next week!! The weather man said "3-10 inches expected". Now while I feel that this is a gross overestimate, I will take his exaggeration with glee!! :o) Too bad no matter how bad it gets, Wes will still be off to run in it!
