End of the First Week
It is over. Now we know how the routine will "somewhat" look like. Keep the prayers-a-comin'...
Friday was a tough one for Wes. During the morning, the class was WORKED OUT for having a mess up on so forms. Wes knew this would come sometime, though he did not expect it on Day Five. Much to his dismay (and some nasty chigger bites on his wrists) he found himself bear crawling, crab walking, running, six-inch lift holding, holding in push-up position for about two hours straight. Then when he thought it was over - came classroom work. Which consisted of learning about, seeing photos and hearing stories of child abuse, neglect and homicide. I didn't ask anymore questions.
This weekend was a good break. We had a good time with friends, spent some time with each other, and heard a great message at church. Wes had a few extra things added to his list of "to-dos" tonight, but overall he's in a good mood. He is also now a part of a prayer group on Monday mornings with members of the academy where they will show up 1/2 hour early. This made my heart soar. :o)

OK, so I've read lots and lots of blogs with different slants and wierd subjects, but yours is perfect.... so you must be my niece. I really like reading about your reactions and the changes you have to adjust to as the wife of a
