August Again

Little Man is practically walking.

I still can't believe that he is already ONE. It seems like this year has flown by. I remember people telling me it would, but I never believed them. It is so true. It seems like once you have kids, there is no time...to remember time. 

He crawled pretty late according to "the books"....but that didn't last long. He couldn't care less about crawling and would rather walk when you hold his finger...or now just completely let go and fall. I continue to remind him that he falls like a board still so that is just not going to work. Yesterday when I was at work I was told that he walked from the ottoman to the coffee table...sigh. So BIG. I am glad that he is making these progressions!! I don't even care if I am there....just as long as it is documented and he does it later for me, ha!

In the midst of his birthday, me starting teaching again and Wes having his usual schedule...our family is crazy during this time of the year. Luckily we've had some help from Grandma and Grandpa so we don't have to worry about little sleep, cleaning, and watching Little Man. I told them they have to come here every year during this time....at least until Little Man attends school with me, haha!

Honestly, it has been amazing. We have had the opportunity to see ALL (four sets....) of the grandparents this summer....and it has been so much fun! Talk about blessed. 

Now we are in a transition of Wes' schedule as well as me starting a new year. The switch for Wes won't be too difficult, especially because he has the same days off. It won't be for me either - we just have to get into the swing of things. 

What an adventure. On to more walking around coffee tables....
