Better Late than Never??
Forgive me for the absence.
I believe it was just the case of the "overwhelmies" that took over this blog. I started it with good intentions and then realized, oh gosh. I just got specific with the title and now every post is going to have to be about being Policeman's Wife.
Then I realized that being a Policeman's Wife is just another name I hold. Teacher, Youth Leader, Volunteer, Disciple, Policeman's Wife, Plain ol' Wife, Daughter, Neice, Granddaughter, Cousin, Sister...etc etc etc etc.
So really it is just about me. I obviously want to sprinkle bits and pieces of my life a PMW....but also about other things. I mean why not, right?
So get ready to see pictures, read about cooking and baking adventures and get topped off with a little PMW action.
First off - Meet Susie.
She is a 3 month old Great Dane and the cutest one I have ever seen. Today was a milestone in her life as well! My husband sent me the following text today:
Victory!! Victory!! Victory!! She is getting it!!! What a wonderful thing to happen after a couple weeks of hard training! Woo! Now we just need her to have a bigger bladder so her daddy and I can get some SLEEP. Hahaha...
Anywho.
I have been working a lot. We bought a house. Wes is now working Graveyard shift. Adventure upon adventure...
Excuse this minor interruption for an excitement: Wes bought me the Pioneer Woman Cookbooks!!!!
I am so excited!!! I looked through the first one and was HOOKED. Plus I found out that my minister's wife uses her recipe for cinnamon rolls she bakes and I was even more stoked to have that recipe.
It has been a goal of mine to start making a PLETHORA of dinners in my new (and beautiful) kitchen. I love cooking in there --when it is clean...cough cough. And I have done pretty well!! For example, tonight we're doing Parmesan Crusted Tilapia...get excited Wes!
More blogging to come...we're back in the saddle again!!
