This is why I never had journals.

I can never keep a journal or diary going for a consistent amount of time. I don't know if it is that I run out of things to say, or if I just am trying too hard to find the right words to place.

I guess I'll get to it when I get to it.

Wes still loves being a Police Officer ( I feel like that is never going to change). I find that he cannot wait to go to work and when he gets back, he's ready to still be there. Don't get him wrong - he likes having breaks, he is just really passionate about what he does.

I digress...

Trying to keep up with this again..we'll see!

We're on our second round. Second round of Wes being a Field Training Officer (FTO) and having a fresh, shiny, no-scuffs-on-those-boots Officer willing and ready to learn all that Wes has to offer. PROS : 1. Wes loves to teach. He probably should have been a teacher - but he needs to do something different every day. Hence - Police work. Plus his love language is Words of Affirmation...so teaching was DEFINITELY out.  2. He is excellent at his job. He should be training someone how he does things because he does them right. He is proactive, and (amazingly...because it doesn't happen in other areas of his life) remembers people, faces, names...tattoos...etc.  3. There is extra time that comes with the training - time that we can use for vacations. This is appreciated as sometimes we don't get multitudes of alone time together. And when we do...we're tired...because we have a two year old...can I get an amen?? CONS : 1. He can't take any tim...
