Wes Hates 'Techno'...But...

Ahhhh it's been a while.... and by that I mean I started work again and have had zero time to update. But here we are! I have been motivated and encouraged yet again to keep up with my daily rants and raves of the Academy and Wes! Let's just say it's gotten ten times more stressful.

Along with starting new activities at the Academy (Defensive Tactics and Range Days) he has new tasks at home that involve cleaning his new Glock 22C and his new Remmington 870 shotgun EVERY. NIGHT. FOR. TWO. HOURS. Yes ladies and gentlemen, two hours...of course on top of shining his boots.  He loves his new toys though. They go great with his $,$$$ radio and all of his extra police "stuff".

Our coffee table....

I swear though, this guy could develop a worry syndrome by the time this is over with.  He is constantly thinking "Did I forget something?!". But I guess I would too if I had to remember all the stuff that he has to remember. Are my boots to a high sheen? Do I have any little stringies hanging off my pants? Are my creases right? Do I have my PT socks, shirt, shoes, heartbeat monitor, shorts? Do I have my books, pencils, pens, etc. Do I have my nametag on my shirt? Do I have a notepad and pen in my shirt? Do I have my guns? Do I have my radio? Is my radio on or off? Do I have my flashlight? Do I have sunblock? Do I have my blousing bands? Are my pants bloused correctly?  Etc...etc...etc.

And frankly, this is only the beginning. And we aren't even half-way. The craziness continues! (However--lucky for me I have created a group on Facebook for the other spouses and myself to complain to eachother on...haha...oh it's hilarious!) Poor Wes has me to tell --and then I tell it on here...haha.

There are fun things that come out of this though...for example: Wes got a new flashlight.  HE LOVES IT. He holds it in his mouth and cleans his Glock and will shine it around our apartment like he's looking for a perp, lol. I do believe, however that his favorite feature of the new light is the strobe action, and when he first discovered this immediately went into a 'techno beat' and started to do the robot....

and if you know my husband....that is just hilarous.
